ANNVILLE, Pa. – The MAC Freedom released its third preseason coaches' poll of the Fall 2025 season Wednesday and for the second straight year, the Stevens Institute of Technology field hockey team was the unanimous favorite, earning all possible first-place votes from the conference's head coaches.
The two-time defending conference champion Ducks earned the maximum 49 points, at least 10 points clear of everyone else. Lebanon Valley and Arcadia tied for second with 39 points, DeSales totaled 32 points, and Misericordia rounded out the top five with 25 points.

The Ducks finished last year 6-1 in MAC Freedom play, avenging their lone conference blemish against Arcadia with a 2-1 win in Glenside in the MAC Freedom Championship Game, earning the league's auto-berth to the NCAA Tournament.
Last season's First Team All-Conference trio of
Sophia Cozza,
Gabi Moroney, and
Emilia Lopes all return, as well as Second Team selection
Molly DiCampli, and
Lily Wierzbicki (Honorable Mention), who started all 21 games during the season in the cage.
