Box Score Ewing, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis team opened its 2025 fall slate Saturday at the Doubles Invitational, hosted by The College of New Jersey.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Max-William Kanz and
Ian Batra led the Ducks with a pair of victories. The duo teamed for an 8-5 win before Kanz partnered with newcomer
Renat Kramin for an 8-4 triumph. Batra and
Dhaivik Chenemilla also collected an 8-4 victory in the second flight, while the tandem of
Elias Alkio and
Noah Pe notched an 8-5 win in the fourth.
In the opening round, Kramin and Chenemilla were edged 8-7 (10-8), while Pe and
Tristan Wroe fell 8-7 (10-4). Action in the third flight featured a pair of close matches, with Batra and Kramin, along with Chenemilla and
Johnny Haase, each narrowly falling 8-6.
