ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's indoor track and field team received a first-place vote and finished second in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Pre-Championship poll, the league office announced Tuesday in the annual pre-Championship vote conducted among the league's 16 head coaches.
Runners-up in 2023 & 2024, and third place last year, the Ducks received 189 points, trailing only Lebanon Valley (217 points, 13 first-place votes). Misericordia (184), three-time defending champion Widener (180), and Messiah (171) rounded out the top five.

Isabella Shanley won the 400-meter dash at last year's Championships and was ¼ of the 4x200 meter relay runners-up alongside
Stephanie Ryazanova,
Anya Sadowski, and
Lauren Alley;
Alexis Merola rounded out the Ducks' All-Conference members, winning the pole vault.
This season, 16 individual events and one relay have had new additions to the program's all-time Top 10 times/performances, including five events with multiple individuals setting Top 10 marks.
This year's Championships will once again be hosted by Alvernia at the Tom & Helen Flynn Complex Feb. 27 – Feb. 28. The appropriate event links will be posted to StevensDucks.com as they are made available.
