ANNVILLE, Pa. – Stevens Institute of Technology women's soccer senior Alanna Odom and junior
Molly McCann were selected to the sport's Academic All-Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) team, as announced by the league office Friday morning.
The award honors 11 student-athletes in both sports from programs in both the MAC Freedom and the MAC Commonwealth. A student-athlete must have a fall semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher to be eligible for the award and nominated student-athletes are voted on by the athletic communications offices from the conference's 16 member institutions.
Odom made her presence felt constantly over the back half of the season, scoring eight of her nine goals over her final 10 appearances, including braces against conference foes DeSales and Delaware Valley, plus the lone goal of two additional conference wins over King's and Lebanon Valley. Those strong performances helped the San Diego native take home conference Offensive Player of the Year honors.
McCann started all 20 of her appearances during a 2025 campaign that featured 12 matches in which she played the full 90, averaging more than 83 minutes per appearance for the year, McCann entered the season with no goals and a single shot attempt in 36 appearances between 2023 and 2024 (adding her first collegiate goal in her eighth appearance of the season), but finished with a flourish, notching three goals and two assists over her final five matches, including a brace against Misericordia in the MAC Freedom Championship, helping the Ducks win their first conference title since 2019..
