Women's Track and Field Begins Outdoor Season at Stockton Invite

Galloway, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's track & field team opened the outdoor season at the Stockton Invitational on Saturday with a trio of Top-5 finishes, plus two additional Top 10 marks in program history.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Isabella Gabay and Kaitlyn Adams finished 2nd and 4th in the 3,000 meters. Gabay ran 10:39.29 – good for third all-time – and Adams clocked 10:41.98, good for fourth all-time.

In the 400 meters, Anya Sadowski moved into fifth place on the all-time program leaderboard, running 1:02.05, more than a second faster than her previous PR.

Though neither finished in the Top 10 in the race, Isabella Shanley and Lauren Alley both set program all-time Top 10 marks in the 200 meters. Shanley ran 25.85, fourth-fastest in program history, and Alley finished in 27.28, 9th in program history.
