Hoboken, N.J. – Senior
Maggie Previglian of the Stevens Institute of Technology women's track & field team has qualified for the 2026 NCAA Indoor Championships it was announced on ncaa.com Sunday evening.
The high jump will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, in Birmingham, Alabama. Previglian qualified in the high jump and will be making her first appearance at the NCAA Championships. Stevens is no stranger to having someone compete in the high jump at the NCAA Indoor Championships, as Gladys Njoku won back-to-back National Championships in 2014-15 and 2015-16.
The senior currently sits tied for 19th in the event entering the NCAA Championships after reaching 1.67m. She entered the season with a personal-best of 1.58m but cleared 1.67m in her first meet of the season at the Crowell Invitational in early December. She followed that up a week later with a 1.63m jump at the Seahawk Shootout. Previglian claimed the Middle Atlantic Conference title in the high jump, clearing 1.59m on her second attempt. She finished out the season with an 11th-place height of 1.59m.
