Bayonne, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis team remained unbeaten in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom play with a dominant 7-0 victory over Arcadia University on Wednesday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Ducks (9-4, 3-0 MAC Freedom) controlled the match from the outset, cruising through doubles play while surrendering just five total points.
Max-William Kanz and
Samvid Andhare teamed up for the first time this season and impressed with a 6-1 win at the top flight.
Ian Batra and
Tristan Wroe followed with a 6-1 victory at No. 2 doubles, while
Renat Kramin and
Dhaivik Chenemilla secured the point with a 6-3 triumph at the third spot.
Stevens carried that momentum into singles, producing three flawless performances. Kanz (No. 2), Wroe (No. 5), and
Johnny Haase (No. 6) each recorded 6-0, 6-0 victories. Andhare added a strong 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles, while Batra nearly matched the effort with a 6-0, 6-1 decision. Chenemilla capped off the shutout with a 6-3, 6-2 win to complete the sweep.

The Ducks return to action Saturday with a pair of road matches, traveling to Center Valley, Pennsylvania to face DeSales at 10:00 a.m. before heading to Haverford for a noon matchup.
