Box Score 2 Center Valley, Pa. / Haverford, Pa. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis team earned a 7-0 win over DeSales University in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom action before falling 6-1 to Haverford College on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Against Haverford, Stevens (10-5) dropped all three doubles flights and trailed 1-0 heading into singles play. At the top of the lineup,
Samvid Andhare and
Max-William Kanz fell 6-4, while
Renat Kramin and
Dhaivik Chenemilla were edged by the same score at No. 3.
Tristan Wroe and
Ian Batra were topped 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
In singles, Andhare accounted for the Ducks' lone point with a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 2. Wroe was bested 6-0, 6-4 at No. 5, while Chenemilla fell 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4. Kanz was knocked off 6-1, 6-3 at the top flight, and Kramin dropped a 6-3, 6-3 decision. Batra battled at No. 3 before falling 7-5, 6-2.

Stevens returns to action next Saturday, when it hosts TCNJ at 10:00 a.m. and Lebanon Valley College at 2:00 p.m. at the Bayonne Tennis Courts.
