Annville, Pa. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's outdoor track and field team was picked 7th in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Pre-Championship poll, the league office announced Thursday. The vote was conducted among the league's 16 head coaches.
The Ducks were picked to finish exactly where they did at last year's outdoor championships. Lebanon Valley, the two-time reigning conference champions, were picked first, just six points ahead of Messiah.
More than 30 points back of Messiah was a tightly grouped 3-thropugh-7 of Eastern, York, Widener, Misericordia, and the Ducks, all separated by just 14 points

Three individuals and three-fourths of a relay team return for the Ducks after top five finishes last year.
William Ladd tied for second in the high jump with a 1.91-meter clearance that put him among the top three in program history.
Kyle Savino was third in the 400 meters, running the first sub-48.00 time in school history.
Danny Jutras was fifth in the 800 meters, finishing just 0.55 seconds off a Top 3 finish in the event.
