Ewing, N.J. – The No. 44 Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis team rallied from a 3-0 deficit to knock off No. 39 The College of New Jersey on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Ducks (11-5) trailed 1-0 after doubles as TCNJ claimed all three flights. Elias Alkio and Dhaivik Chenemilla were edged 7-6 (8-6) at No. 3, while Samvid Andhare and Max-William Kanz at No. 1 and Ian Batra and Tristan Wroe at No. 2 were knocked off by identical 6-3 scorelines.

The Lions won the first two singles matches to extend their lead to 3-0, as Alkio was blanked 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6 and Chenemilla fell 6-1, 6-4 at No. 4. Batra got the comeback started with a 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 3, before Kanz came away with a 7-5, 6-4 triumph at No. 2. Andhare pulled the Ducks level at 3-3 with a 6-3, 6-2 win at the top spot, leaving Wroe as the lone competitor still on court at No. 5. Wroe won the first set 7-5 and outlasted his opponent 7-6 (7-5) in the second to complete the comeback and give Stevens the win.
