Atlanta, Ga. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's basketball team earned special consideration this week from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) for academic achievement during the 2025-26 season.

The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and two-year college women's basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. Teams must have a combined GPA of 3.0 or better and be nominated by its head coach, who must be a member of the WBCA to be recognized. The 2025-26 season is the 31^st in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.

The Ducks finished with a 3.575 team GPA, among the Top 85 of the 119 qualifying schools. It's the fourth such appearance for Stevens since the 2019-20 season – the team finished 11^th in 2021-22, second in 2020-21, and sixth in 2019-20.

Stevens finished 2025-26 with a 20-7 record, it's second 20-win season since 2022-23 and third season with a winning percentage over .700 since 2021-22. The Ducks finished MAC Freedom play 10-4, reaching the conference championship game for the third time since 2022-23.
