MADISON, N.J. - Junior guard Brad Greenman scored 15 points, including a 3-pointer with 1:18 left that put Drew ahead and sent the host Rangers to a 59-53 win over Stevens Institute of Technology on Wednesday night.

Sophomore guard Ryan Kander (Belle Harbor, N.Y./Xaverian) sank one of two free throws with 2:08 left to give Stevens (1-9) a 50-49 lead.  Greenman's 3-pointer at the 1:18 mark gave Drew (2-6) a 52-50 lead and ignited a 7-0 run.  The Rangers sank seven of eight free throws in the final minute to preserve the win.

Stevens trailed 56-50 following a pair of free throws by Drew senior Nick Elmo with 24 seconds left. But the Ducks cut the lead in half with 17 seconds left when sophomore guard Jimmy Dominkewicz (Orchard Park, N.Y./Orchard Park) sank three free throws after he was fouled beyond the arc.  Greenman made one free throw and sophomore Bernard Buttone sank a pair with five seconds left to seal the win.

Stevens shot 50 percent (14-for-28) in the first half in claiming a 29-24 lead at the break.  Drew turned the tables in the second half as it shot 50 percent (11-for-22) from the floor and 84.6 percent (11-for-13) from the free throw line in the second half.  The second half featured three ties and nine lead changes, the last coming on Greenman's 3-pointer with just over a minute left.

Kander (six rebounds) and sophomore forward Michael Collins (Bronx, N.Y./Trinity Pawling) led the Ducks with 13 points apiece.  Dominkewicz finished with 11 points, five rebounds and four assists.

Stevens is back in action on Friday, January 9, when it hosts Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in a 7 p.m. game at the Canavan Arena.
