Hoboken, N.J. – Stevens Institute of Technology men's basketball juniors
Harmehar Chhabra and
Tommy Scholl were each named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District 4 Second Team Tuesday afternoon, with Scholl also claiming D3hoops.com All-Region Second Team honors, following sensational 2025-26 seasons.
These honors come two weeks after both were named to the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom First Team, the first major year-end honors for both at the time.
Chhabra started the year slow but turned things up several notches over the final two-thirds of the season. After averaging just over four rebounds and three assists over the first nine games of the year, Chhabra averaged 7.6 rebounds and 5.1 assists over the final 16 games of the regular season, including four games with at least nine boards and seven assists, highlighted by a 12-point, 11-rebounds, 11-assist triple-double against Lebanon Valley in the penultimate game of the regular season, a feat he then repeated in the NCAA Tournament against Christopher Newport. For the year, he averaged 14.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game.
Scholl was a scoring machine all season for the Ducks, reaching double figures in every game, with his average remaining above 17 points per game the entire season. He scored at least 20 in 12 games, including three separate instances of back-to-back contests. He hit at least three 3-pointers in 13 games while making more than 35 percent of his long-distance attempts. The Fairfield, Conn. native also pulled down at least seven rebounds 16 times and at least 10 rebounds on four occasions, notching double-doubles in each instance. He capped his monster year averaging 21 points and 5.7 rebounds over the team's three postseason games between the MAC Freedom Tournament (earning Tournament MVP Honors) and NCAA Championships
