ROCHESTER, N.Y. (December 10, 2012) – Freshman Dylan Krause (Atlanta, Ga.) of the Stevens Institute of Technology women's basketball team was named the Empire 8 Rookie of the Week for the first time on Monday. The freshman posted double-doubles in both of the Ducks' games last week to secure the title.

Krause averaged 15 points, 13 boards and 2.5 blocks in last week's contests. She finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds in the team's overtime loss to New Paltz on Tuesday. The Atlanta native then scored 19 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead all players in efficiency rating on Friday night at Utica.

Stevens will be back in action on Monday night at Montclair State University with a 6 p.m. tipoff.
