BALTIMORE, Md. (November 24, 2013) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's fencing program continued its great start to its 2013-14 season Sunday with a 5-0 performance at Johns Hopkins University.
After its five matches were cancelled on November 17, the Ducks were able to pick up five matches at Hopkins and made the most of them, defeating the University of Virginia, 20-7, host Johns Hopkins, 14-13, the United States Naval Academy, 16-11, William & Mary, 21-6, and the University of Maryland, 15-12.
The most notable win for the Ducks came over last year's MACFA Champion and conference rival Johns Hopkins in what was by far the closest and most exciting dual-match of the day.
Senior captain
Anthony Worthington went 4-0 overall in Baltimore, including a brilliant 3-0 performance against JHU, to lead the Ducks who are now a remarkable 13-3 overall. Stevens' only losses have come to DI's in Sacred Heart University, Columbia University and Princeton University.
Other notable individual performances for Stevens came from junior

Joseph Falvo. Rojas was 10-2 in foil and Falvo was 10-5 in sabre. Sophomore
Daniel Tracey went 7-3 in foil,
Dominik Jedruszczak was 5-4 in sabre and freshman
