HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 16, 2015) – The third-seeded Stevens Institute of Technology women's tennis team will battle second-seeded Nazareth College Saturday in the Empire 8 Conference Championship semifinal.

CHAMPIONSHIP INFO
The Ducks semifinal match is set for 12 p.m., with Sunday's final scheduled for 10 a.m. Top-seeded Ithaca College will matchup against fourth-seeded Hartwick College in the other side of the bracket. 

Both rounds will take place on the campus of Nazareth.

DUCKS VS. THE FIELD
Stevens dropped a back-and-forth, 5-4 battle to Naz in the season opener, before falling to Ithaca 9-0 two weeks later. The Ducks topped Hartwick 9-0 on Oct. 3. 

HISTORY LESSON
The Ducks have made the four-team championship field every season since joining the E8 prior to the 2007 season, making six finals appearances in the process. 

RIDING SOLO
Sophomore Katrina Guido led the Ducks this season with a 9-1 record at singles, while senior Julia Guignard finished second with eight wins. Junior Alexis Connor served as Stevens' primary first singles player, winning five matches from the top spot. 

DOUBLES TROUBLE
Guido and freshman Sydney Zoretic completed a perfect 9-0 regular season at doubles this season with wins in last weekend's NJAIAW Tournament. The freshman tandem of JillHadwen and Victoria Piskarev finished second on the team with seven wins.

HOT-STREAK
Stevens enters the weekend on a four-match win streak, including three consecutive 9-0 wins.
