HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 19 2015) – The No. 20 Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team will face a stiff road contest Tuesday when it travels to Rutgers University-Newark for a non-conference matchup.

LAST TIME OUTAfter falling behind 2-0, Stevens stormed back with four unanswered goals Saturday in a 4-2, Empire 8 Conference win over St. John Fisher College in Hoboken.
SCOUTING REPORTSporting a 12-4-1 record, R-N enters Wednesday's match unbeaten in five of its last six matches. Nine different players have scored multiple goals so far this season, while Chigozie Atubi leads the Scarlet Raiders with 15 points off six goals and three assists.
RIVALRY RENEWEDThe Ducks are 3-1 in their last four matches against R-N, outscoring the Scarlet Raiders 7-1 in the wins. Last season's matchup was cancelled due to heavy rain and lightning.
POLL POSITIONAfter making an appearance in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's national preseason poll, the Ducks reappeared last week at No. 20.
ROAD WARRIORSThe Ducks are 3-0 in their last three in non-conference road matches, outscoring opponents 8-3.

Colin Phillips tallied eight points off three goals and two assists last week in the Ducks two wins. Phillips leads the E8 with five game-winning goals this season.

Jeff Althoff, the Ducks defense leads the E8 with a 0.76 goals against average. Stevens' defense is the only unit in the E8 that averages less than one goal per game.
RENNA REPORTJunior keeper
Mike Renna recorded his 15th career shutout last Wednesday in the Ducks 4-0 win over Merchant Marine. Entering play on Tuesday, Renna needs one more save to reach 100 for his career.
