HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 7, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology field hockey team will travel to St. John Fisher and Elmira this weekend in pivotal Empire 8 matchups.

WEEKEND INFO
Saturday's game against Fisher is scheduled for 11 a.m., with Sunday's Elmira matchup set for 1 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Stevens narrowly missed erasing a three-goal deficit Wednesday afternoon in a 5-3 loss on the road to New Paltz. Three different Ducks scored goals, while junior Cassidy O'Hearn tallied three points. 

SCOUTING REPORT
At 9-2, Fisher brings a perfect 4-0 Empire 8 mark into the weekend. Emily Markarian is tied for the E8 lead with nine goals, while goalie Ashley Maynard owns a 0.57 goals against average.  

Elmira sits at 2-7 (0-3), and features three different players who've scored three goals this fall. 

LAST LAUGH
Fisher topped Stevens 3-1 last season in Hoboken, but the Ducks got their revenge in a 2-1 overtime win in the E8 semi. 

HOLY NOLY
Senior Nolie Prouty leads the Ducks with 17 points and six goals, and has scored or assisted in all but three games this season.

IT BEARS REPEATING
Stevens leads the E8 this season with a 3.45 goals per game average, despite not having a single scorer in the top-10 in the E8.

IN THE GROOVE
Junior Victoria Alvarez continued her scorching three-game run Wednesday with a goal against New Paltz. Alvarez has nine points in Stevens' last three games. 

DREW ON D
Junior Drew Lustig continues to be a menace for opposing offenses, leading the team with four defensive saves. Lustig has started all 11 games this fall.
