HOBOKEN, N.J. (November 3, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team will look to continue its run of dominance over the Empire 8 Conference this weekend with the 2016 championship. 

CHAMPIONSHIP INFO
Top-seeded Stevens will host fourth-seeded St. John Fisher in the first semi Friday at 4 p.m, followed by Ithaca vs. Houghton at 7 p.m. Saturday's final will take place at 7 p.m. with all matches taking place at the De Baun Athletic Complex in Hoboken. 

LAST TIME OUT
Sophomore Danny Nasti scored with less than 10 minutes left of the clock Saturday, sending the Ducks to a 1-0 road win over Houghton. With the victory, Stevens clinched the top seed in this weekend's championship. 

DUCKS VS. THE FIELD
Stevens went 2-1-0 against the four-team field this fall with a 2-0 win over Fisher, and a 1-0 win over Houghton. Stevens' only E8 loss of the season came in a 1-0 decision on the road to Ithaca. 

DUCK DYNASTY
Stevens will be seeking its 10th-straight conference title this weekend as the program has won the championship each season it's been in the conference. The Ducks are unbeaten in 17 matches in the championship. 

GETTING HOT
Stevens has won six of its last seven, outscoring opponents 26-5 in those wins.   

FIRST YEAR IMPACT
Sophomore Daniel Aversano led the Ducks this season in goals and assists in his first season on Castle Point. The sophomore's 20 points are good for third in the E8.

TOP O
Stevens enters the championship armed with the top-scoring offense in the E8 at 2.4 goals per game.
