HOBOKEN, N.J. (February 1, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's basketball team (8-9, 4-5) will wrap-up its six-game homestand Tuesday when it hosts No. 22 New York University.

Behind a career-high 27 points from senior Kevin Zychowski, the Ducks upset St. John Fisher College Friday night before falling to Elmira College Saturday.

SCOUTING REPORT
At 14-3, NYU enters Tuesday's matchup off a double-digit win over Case Western Reserve University Sunday. Evan Kupferberg leads the Violets in scoring and rebounding at 19.5 points and 10.6 boards per game.

EQUALILZER
Tuesday's matchup will be the fourth in as many seasons between Stevens and NYU, where the Violets have taken two of three.

CONSISTENT CHRIS
Sophomore Chris Cosgrove has scored in double-figures in 11 games this season, including a season-high 22 in Saturday's loss.

ZYCHOW-THREE
Fueling Zychowski's career-high scoring mark Friday was a perfect 6-for-6 shooting performance from beyond the arc. Additionally, the senior went 7-for-7 from the line. 

SENIORITY
Senior Alex Lorenz tallied a double-double of 14 points and 11 boards in Friday's win, giving him his fifth double-double of the season and second in as many games. 

DUCK DISTANCE
Stevens hit 16 three pointers in its win over Fisher, marking the seventh time this season the Ducks have hit at least 12 threes in a game.

IN THE HUNT
Entering play on Tuesday, the Ducks are in fifth place in the Empire 8 Conference.
