HOBOKEN, N.J. (February 29, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology baseball team will host local rival New Jersey City University on Wednesday.

WEEKEND RECAP
The Ducks went 1-1 in two games over the weekend. They dropped a 9-8 decision to William Paterson University on Saturday before rebounding with a 6-5 win over Drew University Sunday.

WALK IT OFF
With one out in the ninth inning of Sunday's game, junior P.J. Wiegartner drew a bases loaded walk to score the winning run against Drew.

BENNETT GOES BOOM
Junior Nolan Bennett crushed his first career home run in Saturday's setback. Bennett hit a solo home run to right center with one out in the fourth inning.

DON'T YANO
Senior Jayson Yano was brilliant against the Pioneers, hurling six shutout innings, surrendering only three hits while striking out four. Yano was selected as the Empire 8 Conference Player of the Week,

MAC ATTACK
Senior Danny McIntyre has racked up two wins already in 2016, equaling his season high. McIntyre has made four appearance and struck out a pair in 2 2/3 innings of work.

RUN, RUN, RUN
The Ducks have swiped 13 bases through five games this season, and have only been caught once.

HOT CORNER
Junior Zeph Walters is the third on the club with a .385 batting average, and his three doubles are tops on the team. 

GOTHIC KNIGHT REPORT
NJCU went 17-20 last season, including 6-12 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. Last season, the Ducks topped its local rivals 18-8.
