HOBOKEN, N.J. (March 20, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology baseball team heads out to California to play three games this week.

GAME INFO
The Ducks will take on No. 30 University of Redlands in a doubleheader beginning at 12 p.m. Monday and then will take on Chapman University at 2 p.m. Tuesday.

LAST TIME OUT
Stevens defeated Kean University 3-2 on Friday, the second time this year they have topped their in-state rivals.

WALK IT OFF
With the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the ninth, senior Nick Sieber belted a single to left center to score the winning run against Kean. It was the second walk-off win for the Ducks this season.

TOP OF THE HEAP
Senior Jayson Yano leads the Empire 8 Conference with a .72 earned run average, while classmate Robert Robbins is tied for conference lead with 30 strikeouts.

THE KAYE WAY
Junior Harrison Kaye got the Ducks on the board Friday by dropping down a perfectly executed suicide squeeze bunt to score class Michael Mule'.

LONG BALL
The team has blasted eight home runs so far in 2016, led by two each from juniors P.J. Wiegartner and Zeph Walters. Last season, the Ducks hit nine in 43 games.

DON'T PITCH TO HIM
Since hitting a pair of homers against MIT last Saturday, Walters is 1-for-3 in the last two games. More telling, Walters has drawn three walks and been hit by three pitches.
