Men’s Lacrosse Hosts No. 1 Tufts Saturday

HOBOKEN, N.J. (March 4, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's lacrosse team returns home Saturday after a three game road trip, hosting No. 1 Tufts University.

GAME INFO
Faceoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. at the DeBaun Athletic Complex.

WEDNESDAY RECAP
The Ducks won their third straight game on Wednesday, topping FDU-Florham 15-7.

THREE FOR THREE
Senior Andrew Scrutchfield scored three goals against the Devils Wednesday. In all three games this season, Scrutchfield has netted a hat trick.

O'SHEA CAN YOU SEE
Senior Connor O'Shea recorded three assists against FDU Wednesday, and is tops on the team with five assists for the year.

TURNOVER CAUSING MACHINE
Senior Tim Fair leads the Empire 8 with eight caused turnovers and is tied for second on the Ducks with nine ground balls.

"X" MARKS THE SPOT
Freshman Nicholas Carnovale is 12-of-16 on the season on faceoffs, going 6-for-8 in each of the last two games.

SCOUTING TUFTS
The Jumbos are the back-to-back defending National Champions, topping Lynchburg College 19-11 in the final last year. Tufts had two players, John Uppgren and Conor Helfrich selected in the Major League Lacrosse draft in January.

HOME COOKIN'
The Ducks will play five of their next six games inside the friendly confines of the DeBaun Athletic Complex.
