Hoboken, N.J. – Recent graduate Luke Lesizza of the Stevens Institute of Technology men's lacrosse team was named a Third Team Academic All-American by College Sports Communicators on Wednesday afternoon.

Lesizza, who graduated with a 3.86 GPA in Information Systems, earned his first career Academic All-America honor. His selection marks the second straight season a Stevens men's lacrosse student-athlete has received Academic All-America recognition in the at-large category, following Bryan Creamer's Second Team selection in 2025.

The Academic All-America honor caps a standout senior campaign for Lesizza, who was recently named a USILA Scholar All-American. He also earned All-America recognition from USA Lacrosse Magazine (Second Team) and the USILA (Third Team) while being selected as the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom Defensive Player of the Year.

Lesizza concluded his career as one of the most accomplished defenders in program history, finishing as Stevens' all-time leader in caused turnovers while establishing the program's single-season record this spring. He recorded his third career season with at least 40 caused turnovers and averaged better than 2.5 caused turnovers per game entering the MAC Freedom Tournament. He tied a career high with nine caused turnovers in the MAC Freedom Championship victory over Arcadia and posted his fourth consecutive season with at least 40 ground balls.
