HOBOKEN, N.J. (April 1, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology baseball welcomes Ithaca College to town for a three-game series beginning Saturday.
    
SERIES INFO
The teams will square off in a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m. followed by a single game Sunday at 3. In between the twinbill Saturday, the 11 seniors will be honored in a ceremony, and Sunday will be the annual Birthplace of Baseball Classic.

WEEK IN REVIEW
The Ducks went a perfect 6-0 since last Friday, picking three wins against SUNY-Canton, a doubleheader sweep of Utica College and a shutout against No.8/10 Rutgers University-Camden.

JAY-HAY KID
For the second time this season, senior Jayson Yano was named Empire 8 Conference Player of the Week, going 5-for-10 against SUNY-Canton.

PESKY PASKO
Freshman Matthew Pasko made three starts at shortstop last week, collecting a pair of hits and the first two RBI's of his career.

WELCOME TO THE SHOW
Fellow freshman Charlie Ruegger made the most of his first collegiate start against Utica Wednesday. Ruegger tossed five innings while striking out eight. Leading up to his start, he tossed a pair of shutout innings against Canton, striking out two.

DINGERS
The Ducks ran their home run total to 12, hitting two against Utica. Junior Michael Mule' hit his second of the season, and classmate Zeph Walters hit his team-leading third.

SIEBER FEVER
Senior Nick Sieber recorded two hits in each of his last three games after going hitless in his last two prior. Sieber also has two RBI's in each of those three games and has raised his average to .365.

WELLS DONE
Junior Garrett Wells has seen since his batting average skyrocket from .189 to .271 in just three games last week. Wells went 6-for-10 with four RBI's, including a walk-off single against SUNY-Canton.

BOMBER REPORT
The Bombers are 7-8 on the season, but are coming off a 22-7 win over SUNY-Oneonta. Ithaca is led by Trevor Thompson who has recorded 16 hits, and Tyler Hill who has struck out 17 hitters.
