No. 20 Men’s Lacrosse To Face Hartwick

HOBOKEN, N.J. (April 11, 2016) – Fresh off a win over Houghton College Saturday, the No. 20 Stevens Institute of Technology men's lacrosse team travels to Hartwick College Wednesday.

Faceoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. in Oneonta, N.Y.

LAST TIME OUT
The Ducks routed Houghton College 22-0 on Saturday in Empire 8 Conference action.

HARTWICK REPORT
The Hawks enter the contest at 3-6 overall, 1-2 in the E8. Chris Vaden leads Hartwick with 19 goals, while Mike Rourke has made 89 saves in goal.

COMMON FOE
The Ducks are a perfect 8-0 against Hartwick all-time, including a 15-7 victory at the DeBaun Athletic Complex last spring.

CLEAN SLATE
The shutout against Houghton was the team's first blanking since March 22, 2008, when the Ducks shut down Alfred University 9-0.

GOING SOUTH
Sophomore JP Southren recorded his first career hat trick against the Highlanders, upping his goal total to seven on the season.

AWARD SEASON
Freshman Nicholas Carnovale was named E8 Player of the Week, winning 13-of-15 faceoffs and scooping up a career-best 10 ground balls. Carnovale also collected his first career assist in the game.

THREE FOR TIM
Junior Tim Leahey tallied his first multi-goal game of the year, scoring three times on eight shots on Saturday.

CLEAR!
The Ducks were a perfect 9-for-9 on clearing attempts Saturday, while Houghton was 12-of-17.
