HOBOKEN, N.J. (April 22, 2016) – After dropping a game to Misericordia University Wednesday, the Stevens Institute of Technology baseball team heads to St. John Fisher College for four games this weekend.
SERIES DETAILS
Saturday and Sunday will be doubleheaders, with Saturday games at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. On Sunday, the games will be 12 p.m and 3 p.m. and only the first three will count towards Empire 8 Conference standings.
WEDNESDAY REWIND
The Ducks fell to Misericordia 5-3 Wednesday afternoon, dropping to 19-11 this season. Senior
Robert Robbins allowed just two hits over five and two thirds innings, but ended with a no-decision.
FISHER REPORT
The Cardinals are 21-6, including 9-0 in the Empire 8. They are riding a 13 game unbeaten streak, and have seven batters hitting .300 or better. Marc Isenker tossed a no-hitter earlier this season and has a 2.40 earned run average.
DUCK REPORT
The Ducks are 10-2 in the E8, sitting in first place. Senior
Jayson Yano leads the team with a .412 batting average and 2.10 ERA.
LAST YEAR
Stevens swept a three game series at home last year against the Cardinals, outscoring Fisher 16-7 over the three games.

Stevens has slugged 21 home runs so far this season after hitting only 12 home runs last year. Junior
Zeph Walters has hit five, while four others have hit three each.
