Women’s Tennis Wraps Up Schedule Wednesday

HOBOKEN, N.J. (April 5, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's tennis team will play its final match of the 2015-16 season Wednesday when it hosts SUNY-New Paltz in Hoboken.

MATCH INFO
Match time is set for 3:30 p.m. at the Stevens tennis courts.

LAST TIME OUT
Stevens fell 9-0 Sunday against Union College in its first action of the spring season.

SENIOR SALUTE
Wednesday's match will be the final in the career for seniors Julia Guignard and Arden Servidio. Both have accumulated double-digit win totals combined at singles and doubles in their careers.

REGULARS
Stevens and New Paltz have had their annual spring matchup scheduled every season since 2008. Rain last year cancelled the matchup for the second time in the series.

BUILDING BLOCKS
Junior Alexis Connor and sophomore Katrina Guido will head into next season as two of the Ducks top threats at both singles and doubles. Guido has won 18 times this season combined at singles and doubles, while Connor won six matches from Stevens No. 1 singles position.

ROOKIE WRAP-UP
Stevens' four freshman made an immediate impact for the Ducks this season, led at singles by Victoria Piskarev and Sydney Zoretic's seven wins each.
