HOBOKEN, N.J. (April 7, 2016) – Due to impending weather issues, the Stevens Institute of Technology baseball team will now play Elmira College Friday and Saturday.
SERIES INFOTomorrow will be a doubleheader at Dunn Field starting at 2 p.m. while Saturday's game will start at 1 p.m., weather permitting.
ITHACA REWINDLast weekend, the Ducks played Ithaca in a three-game series. Stevens took the opener 9-3, but fell in the final two, including a 4-3 decision in 10 innings on Sunday afternoon.
AWARD SEASONSenior
Jayson Yano keeps collecting Empire 8 Conference awards, and this week claimed E8 Pitcher of the Week. The week prior, Yano was named E8 Player of the Week for the second time.
ELMIRA REPORTElmira comes into the weekend with a 6-11 record, and the head coach of the Soaring Eagles is Corey Paluga, a former assistant coach here at Stevens. Dennis Rudolph and Conor Bawiec are each hitting over .424 to lead Elmira.
DINGER DERBY, PART DEUXBoth the Bombers and Ducks took advantage of the blustery conditions this weekend, combining to hit 12 long balls. Juniors

Bret Viola has carved out a niche in the bullpen this year, and in his last three outings, he has totaled 13.0 innings pitched, allowing just two runs while striking out seven.
