HOBOKEN, N.J. (May 6, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology baseball team ends its home slate of games with a contest against Amherst College Sunday.

GAME INFO
The newly added game will begin with a 1:30 p.m. first pitch at Dobbelaar Field.

LAST TIME OUT
The Ducks picked up a critical win on Tuesday, topping No. 12/22 Keystone College 3-2 in 12 innings.

SIEBER FEVER
Senior Nick Sieber broke through in the 12th inning, delivering a walk-off infield single that scored classmate Jonathan Toro to send the Ducks home with a win.

LATE INNING HEROICS
The walk-off victory was Stevens' fourth of the season. For Sieber, it was his second walk-off hit of the season, as juniors Garrett Wells and P.J. Wiegartner also have collected game-ending RBI's this year.

BIG MAC
In his last four outings tallying two innings, senior Dany McIntyre hasn't allowed a hit. McIntyre entered Tuesday's contest with runners on first and second and two outs. He was able to strike out the Giants No. 3 hitter to end the inning.

OUCH TIMES 10
Junior Zeph Walters and Toro are tops on the club in getting hit by pitch. Both players have been plunked 10 times, including once each on Tuesday night.

HOME COOKIN'
Within the friendly confines of Dobbelaar Field, the Ducks boast a 13-4 record, including a 7-2 mark in non-conference action.

DON'T YANO
Senior Jayson Yano made his first relief appearance of the season on Tuesday, and he looked like a natural. Yano picked up his fifth victory of the year out of the pen, tossing seven innings. The senior allowed just one run on four hits, while striking out seven and walking no one.

HIP, HIP, MULE'
Junior Michael Mule' is hitting .667 (4-for-6) in his last two games, including a season-high three hits Tuesday against Keystone.

THANKS MOM!
All mom's of current Stevens baseball student-athletes are invited to throw out the first pitch at today's Mother's Appreciation Day Game. The ceremony is slated to begin at 1:20 pm and any mom's participating will be able to enter the field at around 1:15 pm through the third-base side gate.
