HOBOKEN, N.J. (September 20, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team will try to get back into the win column Wednesday night when it travels to the Merchant Marine Academy in non-conference action.

Stevens dropped its Empire 8 Conference opener to Ithaca Sunday afternoon, 1-0 in Ithaca.
SCOUTING REPORT
Merchant Marine is off to a 2-2-2 start to its season, and is coming off a pair of 5-0 wins over Yeshiva and SUNY Maritime. Gavin Yingling has been the Mariners top scorer with six goals, while Cory Maier has 19 saves as the primary keeper.
FAMILIAR FOE
Stevens has topped Merchant in each of its last six matchups including a 4-0 win last season in Hoboken.
MAKING A MARK
In his first season as the starting goalie, sophomore
Aaron Henry owns the third best goals against average in the E8 at 0.76. Henry has allowed just four goals in five games.
