TEANECK, N.J. (February 11, 2017) – Stevens Institute of Technology women's fencing sophomores
Michelle Drobish and
Julia Yang each recorded their 100th career wins Saturday as the Ducks went 4-1 at annual FDU Invitational.
Stevens topped FDU 19-8, LIU-Brooklyn 24-3, NJIT 19-8, Wagner 20-7, while falling to Temple 22-5.
Drobish led all Stevens fencers with 10 wins from the sabre weapon, while sophomore Yang went 8-2 at sabre. Sophomore
Amanda Choy won eight times at epee, while sophomore
Julie McEldoon went 7-3 at epee. Six Stevens fencers won six bouts at foil in junior

Karen Kong went 6-0 and sabre, and freshman
Phoebe Lai went 7-3. Choy also went 3-0 against Division I Temple to lead the Ducks in that match.
Stevens' sabre unit had the most wins on the day with 36, while epee won 29 and foil won 22.
Stevens will back in action next Sunday for the EWFC Championships being hosted by Vassar.
