LEXINGTON, Va. (February 4, 2017) – Senior
Danny Moore, junior
Zach Wilhelm and sophomore
Thomas Poklikuha each went 2-0 as the No. 6 Stevens Institute of Technology wrestling team picked up 29-14 and 27-18 Centennial Conference victories over Washington and Lee and Johns Hopkins respectively.
The sweep polished off a perfect season for the Ducks that saw them go 22-0 overall, and 7-0 in the Centennial Conference. The unbeaten season is the 29th in school history, and the first since the men's swimming team did it in 2007-08.
The last team to go unbeaten with at least 10 contests was men's soccer in 2006, while this year's wrestling team is the first to do it with at least 20 wins in school history.
