• Short Story: The Stevens Institute of Technology women's tennis team fell at SUNY-New Paltz, 7-2, in a non-conference match Wednesday evening.
• The records: Stevens: 9-6; New Paltz: 9-6

How It Happened

• Senior Alexis Connor and freshman Isabella Calandra earned the only doubles victory for Stevens, defeating Carol Tyson and Emi Lewis, 8-4, in first doubles. 
• New Paltz earned victories in the first five singles flights. Senior Jillian Morneau earned the only victory for Stevens in sixth singles. The Beverly, Massachusetts native rallied to defeat Jessica Reich in three sets, 4-6, 6-3, 7-6.
