HOBOKEN, N.J. (July 18, 2017)  – Head Baseball Coach Kristaps Aldins announced the details for the 2017 Stevens Institute of Technology Baseball Alumni Game.

The annual event will be held on Sunday, October 1 at the Dobbelaar Baseball Field. All baseball alumni are welcome to attend and are encouraged to spread the word to their teammates so that the turnout can be better than ever! Anyone interested in attending (as a player or as a spectator) should RSVP to Coach Aldins at either kaldins@stevens.edu or 617-347-3283.

The weekend's festivities begin one day earlier on Saturday, September 30, with Baseball's Fall Game at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. The action begins at noon with 18 innings scheduled for the afternoon, with play completing at approximately 7:00 p.m.

Registration for Sunday's alumni game begins at 2:30 p.m. and will be followed by a brief batting practice and infield/outfield session. The main event will feature a seven-inning alumni vs. alumni ballgame with first pitch scheduled for shortly after 3 p.m.! Immediately after the game, there will be a BBQ, so whether you're interested in playing or just coming as a fan, it should be a great day for everyone. 

Players will be provided with a uniform top and bats to use, but are asked to bring their own baseball pants, socks, hat, and glove. 

In addition, it will be "Celebration of Athletics" weekend on campus with three home games scheduled for Saturday afternoon. Full details on "Celebration of Athletics" weekend will be announced shortly.
