CLEVELAND, Ohio (June 17, 2019) – The Stevens Institute of Technology Department of Athletics finished ranked No. 29 nationally in the final Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup Division III Standings, it was announced.
The finish was the highest in the Empire 8 Conference and ranked second in the state of New Jersey. Stevens' 29th-place finish represented the department's fifth-highest placement in the prestigious final rankings and extended the Ducks' streak of top-45 finishes to 11.
"Congratulations and a huge thank you to all of our coaches, staff and student-athletes on this impressive honor," said Director of Athletics
Russell Rogers. "Finishing 29th in the Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup out of approximately 450 NCAA Division III schools is indicative of the kind of maximum effort put forth in so many different ways on a daily basis by our student-athletes and all members of the Stevens Athletics community. While we are focused on continuing to move forward toward even higher goals, this is an honor that our entire university can be very proud of and we greatly appreciate the work that so many have put in to make it happen."
