HOBOKEN, N.J. (February 23, 2021)  – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's basketball team released its 2021 competition schedule Tuesday. The calendar features a total of three intercollegiate competitions, beginning on Mar. 11, with one taking place inside of Canavan Arena, where the Ducks are 86-36 since the start of the 2010-11 season.

The Ducks' schedule unofficially gets underway on Mar. 5 with a Red-White Scrimmage on the Canavan Arena floor. The event will give Coach Haughey and staff a unique opportunity to simulate a game experience prior to the Ducks' season opener less than one week later. 

"Our team has been enjoying every minute together on the floor," said head coach Megan Haughey. "We are really excited to get the opportunity to play against Drew and SUNY Cobleskill in the coming weeks. We are especially thankful for our sports medicine staff who have worked tirelessly to make this happen!"

The Ducks are set to face three opponents this season with a road contest against Drew University on Mar. 11 opening the schedule, which will be followed by a home and home series against SUNY Cobleskill (Mar. 12 and Mar. 14). The contest on the 12th will be Stevens' lone home contest of the season. 

The season-opening contest against Drew will be the first meeting between the program since 2004. Drew leads the all-time series 2-1 with the first contest taking place in 1999, in the fourth season of women's basketball at Stevens. The two matchups against SUNY Cobleskill will be the first-ever meetings between the programs.

Please note that all event times, dates and opponents are subject to change and fans remain prohibited from attending Stevens' home athletic events.
