HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 26, 2023) - The Stevens Institute of Technology Athletic programs has no teams ranked in the latest round of Division III national rankings. The Ducks are ranked in four NCAA regional rankings.
Field hockey was ranked fifth in Region IV in the latest round of NCAA Regional Rankings. The team picked up two straight wins last week to improve to 13-2, including a 6-0 conference victory over Delaware Valley this past Saturday. The team is currently on a eleven-game winning streak, which matches the longest in program history. No ranked teams remain for the team on their schedule.
Women's volleyball clinched the #1 seed in the MAC Freedom Tournament after taking down Arcadia 3-1 on Tuesday. The team is ranked fifth in Region IV in the latest round of NCAA Regional Rankings The Ducks have won the MAC Freedom Tournament every year since joining the conference. The Ducks still have one ranked team, No. 10 NYU, who they will face next Friday. The Ducks face Stockton this coming Saturday, who is ranked sixth in Region IV.
Men's soccer was ranked third in Region IV in the latest round of NCAA Regional Rankings. The team has won three games since the last report, including notching two shutouts. The Ducks have already clinched a home playoff match as they can finish no lower than the #2 seed. Just one game remains, which sees the Ducks face Lebanon Valley who is receiving votes and is ranked fourth in Region IV. The winner of the game will be the #1 seed in the MAC Freedom Tournament.Â
Women's soccer is ranked seventh in Region IV in the latest round of NCAA Regional Rankings. The team continues to win as well, defeating Arcadia 3-0 on Saturday and 7-1 over Delaware Valley last night. With the win last night, the Ducks have clinched the #2 seed in the MAC Freedom Tournament and will host either #3 Arcadia on Tuesday. The Ducks wrap up the regular season with a home match against Lebanon Valley on Saturday.
Men's and women's cross country is not ranked in the latest polls but the men came in at No. 7 in the latest USTFCCCA Metro Regional rankings, which is their highest spot in the Regional Rankings this season. The Ducks last competed in the Border Battle. The men finished 7th out of 32 teams while the women finished 22nd out of 34 teams.
Men's and women's swimming both did not receive votes in their preseason polls. The women's team takes on Kean this Saturday.Â

The national polls for the in season sports consist of the United Soccer Coaches Association for both men's and women's soccer, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association for field hockey, the American Volleyball Coaches Association for women's volleyball, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for men's and women's cross country, and the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America for men's and women's swimming.
