KANSAS CITY, Mo. (August 2, 2023) – The United Soccer Coaches Association released its 2023 Division III Preseason Poll late Tuesday, and the Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team was ranked third in the inaugural poll of the season.

The Ducks check in at number three after reaching the national semifinals of the NCAA Tournament last season. The 2022 men's soccer program's run to the final four was the second in program history. Stevens was the 25th national semifinalist to represent the Middle Atlantic Conference and the first since 2017.

Stevens has just one ranked opponent on their schedule, as they will take on No. 18 Franklin and Marshall in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 2nd.

Defending national champions, the University of Chicago, earned the preseason number one designation. Williams College is ranked second just ahead of the Ducks after falling to the Maroons in last season's championship game, while the University of Mary Washington and Kenyon College round out the top five.
