Men's Golf Returns To Action At Skidmore Fall Invitational

Saratoga Springs, N.Y. – The Stevens Institute of Technology golf team took 20th at the Skidmore Fall Invitational this weekend.

The Ducks carded a +43 on Saturday. The event was supposed to continue on Sunday, but the second round was 
called offdue to rain and cold temperatures.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Punn Chittaratlert paced Stevens, tying for 56th overall with a +8. He tallied a birdie on the par-5 third hole and concluded the round with three consecutive pars. Alex Carey was behind with a +10, as the newcomer racked up 10 pars over the 18 holes.

Sebastian Beaver tied for 84th with a +11 as he played holes three through eight in +1. His round was highlighted by four straight pars on the front nine, and he closed the day with consecutive pars on 17 and 18. Will Fulton carded a +14, notching a birdie on three to accompany six pars. Rounding the competitors for Stevens was Maxime Debets, who shot a +24. Debets birdied the sixth hole while registering a pair of pars.


UP NEXT
The Ducks close out the fall slate next weekend at the George Cangero Invitational. The two-day event, which will be hosted by Farmingdale State, will take place at Bethpage State Park on Long Island.
