Williamsburg, Va. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's golf team wrapped up play at The Ruckus on Sunday, with the "A" Team placing fourth and the "B" Team finishing ninth.
The "A" Team posted a +18 (594), while the "B" Team finished at +52 (628). Drew University claimed the team title at +6, followed by Salisbury at +12. Individually, Drew's Elliot Parker won medalist honors at -4.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Jack Harris led the "A" Team with a tie for fifth, finishing even for the tournament after carding a +2 on Sunday. The first-year was -2 on the front nine with birdies on holes one and nine, and added another on the par-five 14th.
Arav Tank and
Sebastian Beaver tied for 14th at +5 overall. Tank fired a -2 round Sunday, highlighted by five birdies, including three over a four-hole stretch (14, 15, 17), and played his final eight holes at -3. Beaver recorded back-to-back birdies on 14 and 15 and played the back nine at even.
Ben Slicker (+9) and
Noah Eide (+11) rounded out the "A" Team. Slicker birdied holes two and 11, while Eide shot +5 on the day.
Udyat Sarangdevot paced the "B" Team, finishing tied for 23rd at +9. He notched birdies on holes two, three, and 14, and played the back nine at even.
Dillon Kim (+13) tied for 30th, while
Brock Dickson (+17),
Alex Carey, and
Bryce Karty also competed. Karty highlighted his round with birdies on six and nine.
