Malvern, Pa. – Arav Tank was the low round for the Stevens Institute of Technology men's golf team Sunday on Day One of the Swarthmore Invitational, carding a six-over 77, as the Ducks ended the day in 10
th place with a team total of +30.
The Ducks sit in the midst of 10 teams separated by just 15 strokes, among them York, Swarthmore, and Farmingdale State, all three currently in the Top 85 of the national rankings. Franklin & Marshall sit in first with a team total of 290 strokes (+6), two shots ahead of Dickinson, and seven clear of Tufts.

Tank birdied the par-five sixth while shooting one-over through the front nine, adding a birdie on the par-three 14th, finishing his round in 28
th place.
Noah Eide,
Sebastian Beaver, and
Ben Slicker all finished the day tied for 44
th with matching rounds of 79 (+8). Eide birdied the par-five 11
th while shooting 39 on the back nine, Beaver played holes 1-2 and 4-through-7 at even par during a front-nine 38, and Slicker birdied the par-four 2
nd while shooting 38 on the front nine, adding a birdie at the par-four 15
th.
Jack Harris shot 83 (+12), finishing the day in 62
nd; the first-year birdied the par-three 12
th, one of just six competitors to do so during the day's action
