Noah Tumibay each won eight matches to lead the Stevens Institute of Technology men's fencing team Sunday at the Temple University Invitational, which was hosted by the Owls at the Liacouras Center.

Nick Reznick each won five bouts for the Ducks, who dropped duals to Princeton (20-7), St. John's (17-10), UPenn (19-8), Penn State (21-6) and Johns Hopkins (21-6). Four of the Ducks' opponents are from Division I, while all five opponents are ranked in the overall top-12 of the mid-season United States Fencing Coaches Association poll.
Mahoney picked up wins in all five duals and finished with a team-high three wins in the dual against St. John's. One of two Ducks with a winning record on the day, Mahoney improved to 36-27 on the year and to an impressive 146-80 for his career. He remains on track to reach 200 wins next season.
Tumibay, meanwhile, also finished the day with a winning record. The Airmont, New York native also scored wins in all five duals and produced a 2-1 record against Princeton, UPenn and Penn State. The first-year epeeist is 39-18 in his debut season on Castle Point.

The Rundown
- The day began with a 20-7 setback to Princeton. The Tigers won two of the three weapons via a 7-2 margin, while also winning epee by a 6-3 decision. Tumibay led the squad with two wins. Against St. John's, the Ducks saw graduate student Patrick Pan, Woodward, Mahoney and Reznick each posted a winning record against the Red Storm. Reznick, Tumibay and junior John Morreale each finished with two wins against the Quakers, but Penn was able to win sabre and epee via identical 6-3 margins, while also winning foil 7-2 to win the dual. In the final two duals of the day, Stevens had three epee wins against the Nittany Lions and four at sabre against the Blue Jays, but were unable to overcome both schools, falling by identical 21-6 margins.
- In terms of individual victories, Morreale finished with four wins, while Pan had three. Sophomore James Glover wrapped up the day with a pair of wins, while Mathews and Romero each had one to round out the Ducks' victories on the day.
- In the middle of the day, Temple acknowledged the seniors on each of the competing teams in a special ceremony. Representing Stevens were graduate student Jack Corridon, senior Erik Marran, graduate student James Morris, Pan, senior Caleb Romero, Stone and Woodward.
Top Performers
- For the day, the sabre squad totaled the most victories on the day, finishing with 17. The epee team ranked second with 12 wins, while foil had eight.
- Stevens captured one weapon dual on the day as the sabre team bested its counterparts at St. John's via a 6-3 margin.
