Men's Track & Field Finishes Up at Widener Evening Invite

Chester, Pa. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's track and field team finished their two-day meet at the Widener Winter Evening Invite on Saturday.

The meet, which had no team score, featured Middle Atlantic Conference foes Albright, Alvernia, Arcadia, DeSales, Eastern, King's, Messiah, Widener, and York while welcoming teams from around the region.


HOW IT HAPPENED
Emmanuel Vega paced the Ducks, placing 39th with a throw of 11.06m, as Brandon Kiefer hit a 46th-place distance of 10.84m. James Johnson was behind him with a throw of 10.24m, as Gabriel Kovach (9.78m) also threw.

Vega was the top performer in the weight throw, taking 24th with a personal-best throw of 12.59m. Cooper Kinsley was behind him with 12.47m, and Brandon Fox was 29th with a toss of 12.28m. Johnson (11.83m), Kiefer (10.75m), and Kovach (8.6m) rounded out the competitors for Stevens,

The Ducks return to action on Saturday, competing in the PLEX Shootout hosted by Alvernia University.
