ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom released its preseason coaches' poll for the 2025 season Monday and the Stevens Institute of Technology softball team was selected sixth, earning 22 total votes. The poll was conducted among the conference's eight head coaches.
Last season's MAC Freedom Tournament finalists, Lebanon Valley and DeSales, took the top two spots and collected all eight first place votes between them. 2023 conference tournament champion Misericordia slotted into third, just two points back of DeSales and nine points clear of Delaware Valley in fourth. FDU-Florham took fifth, just two points ahead of the Ducks.

Stevens went 16-20 last season with a 6-8 mark in conference play.
Jessica Guerrero and
Madison Subbiondo each earned their second straight All-MAC Freedom selections; Subbiondo also earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region IV First Team honors.
Rachael Prescott and
Emma Quattrochi both started at least 33 games and hit over .300 last year; all four return for the Ducks this season.
