Women's Cross-Country Tabbed Fourth in MAC Pre-Championship Poll

NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's cross-country team was picked fourth in the Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) pre-championship poll Wednesday, ahead of the conference's championship race this Saturday.

In the vote conducted among the conference's 16 head coaches, Stevens totaled 173 points to slot comfortably into fourth between Messiah and DeSales, who amassed 192 and 160 points, respectively. Misericordia received 10 first-place votes and 219 points, four first-place votes and five points total of Lebanon Valley.

The Ducks' fourth-place pre-championship ranking is the highest for the team since joining the conference prior to the 2019-20 season, one spot better than last season.

Misericordia has won five of the seven league championships since 2017 and seven of the last 10 dating back to 2014.
