HOBOKEN, N.J – The Stevens Institute of Technology wrestling team reeled off five straight pins to cap a commanding 45-8 win over Arcadia on Thursday night in the team's first dual meet of the 2025-26 season.

Noah Berlin-Langston each picked up six points for the Ducks, with all but Berlin-Langston doing so inside three minutes.
The Rundown
- Charles Piccione started the night at 125 with a 20-3 technical fall win, collecting 11 points just on near-falls. After Arcadia picked up a decision win at 133, Nico Diaz -- competing in his first dual since February 17, 2024 -- added another technical fall (21-4) at 141, picking up five takedowns and a four-point near-fall, putting Stevens up 10-3 in the dual.
- After Arcadia closed to 10-8 with a technical fall at 149, Ryan Smith -- #4 in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association and OpenMat rankings – picked up 16 points in the first period alone during a 21-6 technical fall win, pushing Stevens' cushion in the meet back to seven, 15-8.
- Roe picked up a takedown in the first period of his match at 165 and did not let things return to a vertical base, picking up a fall in 2:28.
- Flanagan picked up a lightning-quick win at 174, pinning his opponent in just 24 seconds almost directly off a takedown right at the edge of the mat, officially clinching the dual as Stevens went up 27-8.
- MacIlroy collected three takedowns in the first 1:35 of his 184-pound match, picking up the pin at 1:47.
- Grenier kept the six-point run going at 197, taking his opponent down in the first 30 seconds, then pinning him just over a minute later.
- Berlin-Langston put the icing on the cake at heavyweight, picking up a first-period takedown, then a pair of reversals and a pin in the closing moments of the second period.
