Grace Hicks went a perfect 6-0 across two matches as the Stevens Institute of Technology women's fencing team was topped by Columbia University and Johns Hopkins University on Sunday.
The Ducks fell to Johns Hopkins 21-6 and were edged 24-3 by Columbia.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Hicks accounted for all three of Stevens' wins against Columbia, posting a flawless 3-0 record in epee. She duplicated the effort against Johns Hopkins, again going unbeaten to lead the weapon squad to a 5-4 edge.
Sofia Stoeckel and
Katherine Mooney also notched victories in epee, while
Ashlyn Leung added a win at sabre, finishing 1-2 across her three bouts.
