ANNVILLE, Pa. – Seeking a return to the top of the podium for the first time since 2020, the Stevens Institute of Technology women's swimming team was picked first in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Pre-Championship poll, the league office announced Thursday. The vote was conducted among the league's 11 head coaches.
The Ducks received nine first-place votes and amassed 97 points. Winners of 10 of the last 11 conference championships, including the last four, Messiah earned one of the two remaining first-place votes, garnering 85 points; Misericordia claimed the remaining first-place vote and earned 79 points; York (74) and Widener (71) rounded out the top five.

Last season, the Ducks collected 11 medals – six individual & five relays – amassing 1,246 points and a third straight second-place finish. The 1,246 points were the fourth-most by any school in the history of the championship meet.
Dating back to 2010, the team has finished in the top three in 14 of 15 conference championship meets, including wins in 2020 and 2013.
The 2025 MAC Swimming Championships will take place at the Graham Aquatic Center Feb. 13-16 and will be hosted by York College of Pennsylvania.
