Men's Track & Field Takes Seventh at MAC Indoor Championships

Reading, Pa. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's track & field team finished seventh at the Middle Atlantic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday.

The Ducks totaled 38 team points, besting Arcadia by five points. Lebanon Valley won the meet with 118 points, as Messiah (103 points) and Widener (98 points) rounded up the top-three.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The 4x800 relay team of Jake Aylmer, Ryan Paradine, Enrico Parrella, and Danny Jutras, who secured an impressive second-place finish with a time of 8:00.02. Jutras also excelled in the 800-meter run, placing third in 1:56.52. In the 3,000-meter event, Liam Concannon led the team with a seventh-place finish in 8:48.47, followed by Jake Porco in 10th at 8:57.04. The mile saw another strong showing from Enrico Parrella, who placed seventh in 4:28.92, while Ryan Paradine finished 10th in 4:31.87. 

Tyler Hackett was the top finisher in the 200-meter dash, taking 10th place with a time of 22.94. In the high jump, William Ladd cleared 1.78m to place ninth. The heptathlon featured notable all-around efforts, with Connor Efinger finishing eighth with 3,657 points, Calvin Gibson placing ninth with 3,567 points, and James Johnson rounding out the top 10 with 3,520 points. The team put forth a competitive effort across all events, achieving several top finishes and strong overall performances.

The Ducks compete in the two-day AARTFC Indoor Regional Championships, hosted by Ithaca College, on Friday and Saturday.
